Homayoun shajarian to resume EU tour

TEHRAN, Apr. 04 (MNA) – The concert tour of Chera Rafti (Why did you leave me) will be resumed in several European countries.

Chera Rafti (Why did you leave me) concert tour will run for two weeks in several European cities after a pause of several months with Tahmoures Pournazeri as composer, Homayoun Shajarian as Vocalist as well as Sohrab Pournazeri as soloist.

The concerts comprise of musicians like Hossein Rezaei Nia, Mahyar Tarihi, Aeen Meshkatian, Laya Etemadi, Atena Eshtiaghi as well as Aryan Keshishi and will kick off on April 21 in Düsseldorf of Germany before appearing on stage in Hamburg on April 22.

The program will continue on April 28 in Stockholm followed by a performance in Gutenberg while the last round of the concert will be held in London on May 1st in London.

Chera Rafti, as the most popular concert in recent decades, attracted nearly 120 thousand audience after appearing on stage in Tehran and many other cities of the country.

The concert is based on Beyond Any Form (I am neither Angel nor Devil) albume, which is is a collaborative studio album by Persian traditional musicians Homayoun Shajarian and Tahmoures Pournazeri, as vocalist and composer respectively and remains the best-selling Iranians classical music album in recent years.

Beyond Any Form includes eight songs in Persian language based on lyrics from renowned Persian classical poet Mowlana Jalaleddin Rumi and contemporary poets Shafiei Kadkani, Simin Behbahani and Hossein Monzavi.
